Description

As the name implies, this monkey flower naturally grows along streams throughout Southern California. Blooms vigorously on stems to 2-3'. Acts as both an annual and perennial. Seeds travel through the water and can be very invasive. A beautiful plant but make sure that it is planted in the proper area. High water needs, best used along riparian or pond areas, in wet soils, or on properties with high rainfall or water tables.
