Iris 'Canyon Snow' is a beautifu, white flower with a yellow throat. It is one of the best performing of the hybrid native irises. It tolerates regular garden conditions and does not struggle through the summer. Virtually no mortality issues at all. Very little to no maintenance once established. Like most Irises, the bloom period is fairly short. Best used in mass plantings. Prefers partial to full shade.

This perennial will grow 2-4' tall and has large, glossy green leaves with beautiful cream or white flowers that bloom in spring and sometimes even summer.Naturalizes, not suggested for planting near wetlands.

Botanical name:Cotoneaster lacteus
An evergreen shrub that grows to a size of 8' tall with long, arching branches. Parney Cotoneaster exhibits dark green leaves above and gray beneath with dusky red fruit. It requires sun to part shade with little or no watering. This plant is tough enough to naturalize in many areas in California, and should be considered potentially invasive. Spreads by seeds and animals.

Practice grass-cycling by leaving short grass clippings on lawns after mowing, so that nutrients and organic matter are returned to the soil.
Eliminate runoff, especially with fixed spray sprinklers, clay soils, and slopes, by dividing the total watering time into shorter increments.
This allows water to soak in.
Remove irrigation water and fertilizer from areas where you don't want weeds to grow.
