The 'Rubens' is a deciduous vine that produces rosy pink flowers. The bloom period is in spring, with scattered bloom again in summer. It requires sun to part shade and average watering.

This magnificent plant can used as a small tree or shrub. It is deciduous with graceful leaves which have a scarlet color in spring as it leafs out. They turn orange or yellow in fall. It is slow growing to 20', and requires shelter from hot winds. The leaves of this tree are small, light green in color, and deply lobed. This deciduous shrub ranges from 6-20 ft. tall and 10-15 ft. wide. It is desirable for its magenta spring flowers, yellow to red fall color, and dangling winter seed pods. It is tolerant of many soil types, drought and oak root fungus. It attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. The Australian bluebell creeper is a spreading evergreen shrub that grows 2-3 ft. tall, or a climbing vine that grows to 8 ft. tall with support. It has attractive glossy green foliage and blue, bell-shaped summer flowers. This shrub can tolerate full sun or part shade on the coast , and part shade inland. It can grow under Eucalyptus trees, and needs good drainage. The Australian bluebell creeper is also drought tolerant. -Cornflower Farms

Grass-like clumps of dark green leaves 1" wide up to 18" long ae found on the Liriope muscari. It can reach a height of 12-15", and dark blue flowers spikes can be seen held above the leaves during the summer. This is an excellent border, accent or ground cover plant that requires part shade exposure.
